New Prague High School is excited to announce that it will be hosting the inaugural New Prague Area Schools’ Career and Tech Day on Friday, October 11. This event aims to provide students in grades 8 and 10 with a high-impact, effective, and efficient day to explore various career areas.
Students will be able to explore a diverse range of career paths and areas of interest, including those they may not have encountered before. Several business and technical colleges will set up booths for students to explore. Our featured speakers will be Nick Slavik from Nick Slavik Painting and Restoration Co. and Amanda O’Connell from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development. They will be discussing upcoming workforce trends and entrepreneurship.
