NPHS Exceeds State Avg in Grad Rates

According to Minnesota Department of Education data released Thursday, June 10, 94.2% of New Prague Senior High students graduated within four years. The data well exceeds the 2020 state average of 83.8%, Minnesota’s highest four-year graduation rate yet. Of the 328 New Prague Senior High students in the graduating cohort of 2020, 309 students graduated, 6 dropped out, 10 were continuing and 3 were unknown. Some students are eligible to continue to access public school education services up to age 21.

Over the past few years, NPHS has continued to expand course offerings that foster college and career readiness skills along with providing time during the school day for students to receive additional academic and social-emotional support from trained staff. Nicole Adams, NPHS Principal, stated "New Prague High School is proud of our graduation rate. We strive to help every student develop skills that will help them be successful beyond high school graduation."
