K-5 Curriculum Maps
Students receive 50 minutes/week of art instruction. Health curriculum is embedded into our regular classroom instruction; our primary curriculum source is Harcourt Health. Our physical education teachers have created their own curriculum based on the SHAPE National Standards. Students are assessed with the Fitness Gram tool and these reports are shared with families once the data is gathered. Students are given 100 minutes/week of physical education. Core Phonics Curriculum: Fundations All elementary students receive a minimum 90 minutes of reading/writing instruction daily. Core Curriculum: Everyday Math All elementary students receive a minimum 60 minutes of math instruction daily. All elementary students receive 50 minutes of music on a weekly basis. Students in grade 5 are also given the choice to participate in either band or choir. Our core curricular resources are Mystery Science and Generation Genius. All elementary students receive 50 minutes of media on a weekly basis.Art
